The Scarred Siren Character Design
Character Description
The Scarred Siren is a mermaid with teal blue skin, vibrant yellow eyes with a scar on her face over her left eye. Her finned ears stick out from her deep blue hair that falls down below her waist, flowing around her scarred amethyst purple, triple finned tail hypnotically. She wears a row of pearls around her neck with a burlap shirt covering her chest with two useful ropes slung across her upper body.
Character Origins
The Scarred Siren was given her name from the various local towns people during her travels around the seas. Though her true name is Alda. Though she doesn’t bother to correct most people as she never plans on staying in one area very long, therefore, the locals knowing her name didn’t seem to matter. The title spread across the seas and now everywhere she goes she hears exaggerated stories of “The Scarred Siren”. Because of these stories, and her scarred appearance, most people do not dare speak with her. Those that do are scarcely interested in hearing the true stories that rarely match the embellishments of rumor.
She refuses to tell strangers the stories of her scars and her silence causes the rumors to swirl about the cause of such strange scars in the ocean. Occasionally, Alda will find someone along their way that is truly curious about her adventures and collected treasures. Whenever this rare person is found, Alda could talk for hours about the many things she has seen and collected in her travels to discover wreckage sites from the overworld.
